Playa del Carmen

Akumal
Akumal is considered to be one of the best diving areas on Riviera Maya thanks to its spectacular coral reefs and marine fauna. Sea turtles come every year to its shores of silky white sand and transparent waters, to complete their reproductive cycle, which attracts tourists from all over. Agencies offer tours to swim with these friendly animals while they feed in the extensive underwater meadows that grow just a few meters from the beach. Bahía de la Media Luna (Half Moon Bay)
If you’re looking for a quiet place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the busiest beaches on Riviera Maya, your destination is Bahía de la Media Luna - its name refers to its curved shape. Between Yal-Kú and Akumal, this beautiful white sand bay hides a seabed full of corals, multi-colored fish, sea turtles and exotic aquatic meadows. Bahía de Jade
La Bahía de Jade is located in Puerto Morelos, a traditional fishing village in the Mexican Caribbean, with a calm, relaxed and bohemian atmosphere. Everything here revolves around its spectacular beach hiding inside the second largest coral reef in the world. Playa Paraíso
Playa Paraíso is a wide, spectacular beach surrounded by palm trees, where you can relax and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. Popular for its crystal-clear waters and fine white sand, this coastline also surprises with its rich biodiversity, such as the crabs and sea turtles that inhabit the long stretch connecting Playa Paraíso with Playa del Secreto (about five kilometers). Puerto Aventura
Puerto Aventuras is a luxury tourist complex made up of three bays: Fátima, Chan Yu Yum and Chac Hal Al. The marina offers a complete service of activities for all tastes: diving, snorkeling, fishing or sailing classes. You can also hire boats for a ride, from a catamaran to a luxury yacht. There are also restaurants, a shopping area and a spectacular golf course designed by the famous player Thomas Lehman.
