The beaches in Costa Mujeres are magnificent. The ocean is a deep turquoise blue and the sand is made from crushed coral, soft and cool even in the heat of the day.

Playa Norte, the northern beach on Isla Mujeres, is known for its calm sea, shallow waters and gentle waves. It is perfect for kids and travelers looking to float in the fantastic Caribbean sea.

Playa Delfines is one of the larger beaches and has some of the brightest blue water you’ll find in the Costa Mujeres region. It is also home to the iconic “Cancún” sign, where travelers stop for a quick selfie.

On Punta Sur, on the south end of Isla Mujeres, you’ll find the Garrafon Natural Reef Park, ancient Mayan ruins, as well as a very picturesque lighthouse.
