  THE ABEL MATUTES FOUNDATION Social

  The Abel Matutes Foundation aims to promote culture, sports, and scientific or sociological research, as well as to promote and defend the environmental, artistic, cultural, and historical heritage of Ibiza and Formentera. In these areas, it provides assistance (both financial and otherwise) to the work and labor of individuals and institutions in any branch or sector that is beneficial or useful to the islands of Ibiza and Formentera and their people.

  INTEGRA FOUNDATION Social

  We are sponsors of the Integra Foundation, an organization that supports people experiencing social exclusion and people with disabilities through job placement. Since the start of our collaboration, Palladium Hotel Group has hired over 250 individuals and, at the end of 2020, we received an award for our special involvement.

  BOTTLE CAPS CHARITY DRIVE Social

  We participated in Fundación SEUR's “Tapones para una nueva vida” (Caps for a new life) campaign, which consists of collecting plastic caps for recycling. The collected bottle caps are delivered to SEUR, and the money raised from their recycling is used to defray medical expenses not covered by Social Security for children with serious illnesses or to cover the cost of orthopedic accessories for families with no means of support.

  ETHICAL CODE Social

  The chairman of Palladium Hotel Group, Abel Matutes Prats, and the company's CEO, Jesús Sobrino, have signed the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism, together with the secretary general of the World Tourism Organization, for the responsible and sustainable development of world tourism.

  ECPAT Social

  We have signed the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents from sexual exploitation in Travel and Tourism (ECPAT Code) at various destinations. It is an international initiative promoted mainly by ECPAT International, UNICEF, and the World Tourism Organization, to combat the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.

  CONTINUED COLLABORATION WITH THE “UN MUNDO MEJOR PARA LA NIÑEZ” ORPHANAGE Social

  We continuously collaborate with the “Un mundo mejor para la niñez” (A better world for children) orphanage in Punta Cana, making various donations such as linens, food, or furniture, among others, with the goal of contributing to children's welfare.

  “ENCHÚLAME LA ESCUELA” PROJECT Social

  For 5 years, we have contributed to sustainable social responsibility education projects for the professional development of students at the "Luis Donaldo Colosio" Elementary School, where we also carried out the "Enchúlame la escuela” (Embellish the school) program. This work has improved the facilities and image of the institution, which is attended by many children from the town of Puerto Maya.

  THE AITANA FOUNDATION Social

  At Riviera Maya, we collaborate with the AITANA Foundation A. C whose mission is: To provide transportation tickets, as well as psychological, spiritual, and health support to children with cancer and their families in Quintana Roo who are being treated in hospitals in Merida, Yucatan, Chetumal, Mexico City, and Queretaro. It brings great satisfaction to our hotel to be able to do its part by donating linens and providing day passes to children with cancer.

  IMBASSAÍ INSTITUTE Social

  The Imbassaí Institute was created in 2005 as the social arm of the Grand Palladium Imbassaí Resort & Spa in the surrounding area. It has become the means to carry out socio-environmental projects, disseminate environmental policy, and provide opportunities for a better quality of life for the local population.

  PINKTOBER- THINK PINK Social

  Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife and Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza join Pinktober® each year, the annual campaign promoted by Hard Rock International in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Hard Rock International promotes this initiative to raise funds through limited-edition items, food and beverage menus, and local events. In turn, Hard Rock Heals Foundation®, the charitable arm of Hard Rock®, is responsible for distributing the funds raised to select local initiatives.

  DONATION TO THE ROBERT READ CABRAL CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL Social

  Through the Dominican Fiesta Hotel & Casino, we collaborate with the Robert Read Cabral Children's Hospital by donating linens to the hospital. We also visit the facilities and spend some time with the children.

  USE OF CAGE-FREE EGGS Social

  Palladium Hotel Group is committed to ensuring that 100% of the eggs consumed in all of its hotels (owned, managed, leased, or franchised) are obtained from cage-free hens by the end of 2025. From then on, Palladium Hotel Group will not accept eggs obtained from combination systems for laying hens, comparable to conventional cage systems. Palladium Hotel Group will publicly report on the progress made in fulfilling this commitment on an annual basis.
