The beaches at the Palladium Resorts located in Punta Cana get The Blue Flag.

The International Jury of the Blue Flag Program has awarded their Certification to the beaches located along the Palladium Resorts Complex in Playa Bávaro, Punta Cana, for 2012 – 2013.
The Blue Flag Certification reaffirms the Group’s commitment to the environmental protection of the beach and sea areas by maintaining the highest quality standards. 
The International Jury has stressed the importance that all parties involved in the Dominican Republic must have a recycling program that will guarantee the proper disposal of waste in the beach areas. Keeping the blue flag certification will depend on the fulfillment of all the criteria determined by the program.
The Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label awarded to 3,849 beaches and marinas in 46 countries across Europe, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada and the Caribbean.
