Abel Matutes Prats, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group, has been awarded with the Medal for Tourism Achievement in Innovation by the Council of Ministers of Spain. This recognition has been granted specifically for the new Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel, as well as for his “capacity for innovation after becoming a key player in the transformation and revitalization of Platja d'en Bossa (Ibiza),” as reported by the Council of Ministers.
These medals distinguish individuals, institutions, companies or destinations that have contributed remarkably to the development, advancement and promotion of tourism.
Matutes Prats was “very glad” to receive this award and said that even though it's a personal award, this medal really recognizes “our team because without them Ushuaïa would not exist.”
