Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel announces the launch of their new cash free system PayTouch, allowing customers to pay securely for all their onsite purchases with just the touch of their fingertips.
The innovative system underlines the venue’s ongoing commitment to technology and offers guests quick and easy access to a range of services, such as fast track access to events as well as discounts, prizes and promotions.
With this initiative, Ushuaïa becomes the world’s first hotel to offer guests biometric technology, giving users a convenient, secure and fast way to pay via a free online account, accessible via one of the fourteen Paytouch points, distributed throughout the interior and exterior of the hotel.
One of the main advantages of the Paytouch system will be priority access to the Ushuaïa events, which for summer 2012 include sets from internationally renowned DJs such as David Guetta, Luciano and Swedish House Mafia. Guests can enjoy the freedom and comfort of Paytouch during the events, safe in the knowledge that wallets and credit cards can be left behind.
Pre-registration is now open and can be accessed via the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel webpage (www.ushuaiabeachhotel.com/en/pioneers), or from one of the touch points located throughout the hotel. The process is quick and fully compliant with PCI-DSS security standards, offering faultless identity verification via the scanning of the user’s fingerprints. One or several credit cards can be registered to each account, allowing the user’s fingertips to pay for all hotel purchases which will be directly charged to the registered card(s). No commission is charged so guests will only pay for what they purchase.
