Overwhelming success during Mallorca Rocks Hotel’s third season

The hotel that remains at the very forefront of Mallorca’s music and youth holiday scene has had an overwhelming successful third season with stellar performers such as New Order, Tinnie Tempah and Two Door Cinema Club, amongst others.
Brits Award winner Ed Sheeran opened Mallorca Rocks Hotel’s 2012 season with his mix of soul, hip-hop and personal lyrics, right after taking the stage during the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Already established as one of the most sought-after music festivals in the Balearic Islands, Mallorca Rocks Hotel has presented an incredible series of live gigs under the stars featuring renowned international groups such as Kasabian, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and Two Door Cinema Club, and singers such as Paolo Nutini and Plan B performing their all-time hits on the poolside stage.
Some of the festival highlights included New Order, one of the leading groups of the 80’s, as well as Happy Mondays in their Mallorca Rocks Hotel debut.
Many of Mallorca Rocks Hotel’s “regulars,” including Zane Lowe, Axwell, Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status, Professor Green, Maverick Sabre, Labrinth, Sub Focus, DJ Fresh and Pendulum, have come back to join this one-of-a-kind line-up and bring down the house every Tuesday and Thurday night.
This season, Mallorca Rocks Hotel also inaugurated WE ARE ROCKSTARS (W.A.R!), a new dance fuelled, DJ led night that saw an incredible mix of the most influential and exciting names in electronic music. Zane, Doorly and Annie Mac, amongst others, doubled the number of concerts offered every week, for a total of 32 mind-blowing music events during 16 weeks!
