Chase + Status come down to Mallorca Rocks

Fiesta Hotel Group’s Mallorca Rocks Hotel is getting ready to experience another star-filled concert this season next Tuesday 23rd at 8:00 pm, featuring English Milton and Will Kennard, better known as Chase & Status. Their successful electronic sounds are the essence of the most absolute underground scene. Their hit debut album “More Than A Lot” (2008) won the 2009 Best Album of the Year at the Drum&Bass Awards held in Birmingham and stayed on the top-sellers list of the UK for several months. The new album, “No More Idols” (2011), has already become a hit making them one of the most sought-after artists in the international electronic music scene. Big names such as Plan B and Tinie Tempah have composed for them, but they’ve also produced for Rihanna and created remixes for The Prodigy, Jay Z and White Lies, to name a few.
Their productions are amazing, not to mention the special charisma the duo has during their live performances that turn each concert into a whole new experience.
Saul and Will met back in the mid 90’s at the University of Manchester thanks to their shared love for drum & bass music. They started working as DJs until they produced their first track, a remix for Future Cut. Numerous drum & bass productions and remixes for other artists followed until they came up with their first album in 2008. It was focused on the drum & bass rhythms that had made them famous but also included other songs that proved how versatile their work really is.
Tonight, the popular English duo will be joined on stage by MC RANGE, and DJ NERO, who is performing for the second time at Mallorca Rocks this summer. These guys will certainly offer a not-to-be-missed concert.
A very special guest, Professor Green, will also be performing hits from his latest album “Alive Till I`m dead” as well a sneak preview of his new one “At your inconvenience,” that comes out in October.
And to kick-off the event, Yasmin, one of the coolest DJ who’s partnered with Shy FX, will present her debut hit single “On my own.”
