Palladium Hotel Group has unveiled further details of its next luxury project: The Ushuaïa Tower. The spectacular eight floor property replaces the existing Fiesta Playa’ d’en Bossa and forms part of the ambitious expansion of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. The new Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel will comprise two buildings; The Ushuaïa Club (formally the original Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel) and The Ushuaïa Tower, scheduled to open in May 2013. The Ushuaïa Tower will boast an impressive façade adorned with creeping vines and colourful flowers, reflecting the vibrant and playful nature of the Ushuaïa brand. The avant-guard interior will house 181 rooms and suites, many of which come complete with private outdoor Jacuzzis, enabling guests to watch DJs perform at The Ushuaïa Club below whilst enjoying a cocktail from the luxury of their own tub. Following in the footsteps of the Minami Restaurant, the much acclaimed Japanese restaurant located within The Ushuaïa Club, The Ushuaïa Tower hopes to draw in food-lovers from far and wide with the Montauk Steakhouse, the first steakhouse on the 'White Isle' offering simple carnivorous pleasure with prime cuts and grilled classics accompanied by a first-class wine cellar. A new Oyster and Caviar bar will offer two of the world’s finest delicacies right next to the Infinity pool, whilst the Sky Lounge is the first and only roof terrace lounge in Playa d’en Bossa offering spectacular views over the Mediterranean coastline. All this compliments the Ushuaïa Beach Club, where the Ushuaïa story first began, serving a mix of classic Mediterranean and fusion dishes, to the backdrop of live DJ sets – comprising classic Ibiza chill-out and soft electro beats. The rooms and suites at The Ushuaïa Tower will be divided into four categories and decorated with a range of natural materials and show pieces, mixed with high-tech functionality. The ‘I’m On Top of the World Suite’ will be the largest suite on the island, offering 166m² of luxurious contemporary living, as well as outstanding bird’s eye views from the eighth floor. Guests can expect all the same privileges enjoyed at The Ushuaïa Club but can also benefit from a little more tranquillity and intimacy with private events, exclusively for guests at The Ushuaïa Tower. For those that don’t want to miss the now world renowned gigs on the Ushuaïa main stage, they can pick from front row viewing at The Ushuaïa Club, or an elite, bird’s eye view from the roof top Sky Lounge next door. What better excuse to start planning a trip to Ibiza?
