Christmas dishes in The Dominican Republic.

Dominicans prepare special Christmas candies: sweet rice and cakes in banana leaves, and their famous “pan de huevo” (egg bread),  which will be served with cooked meat depending on the different regions. When the food is ready to serve, the Dominicans share it with their neighbors and with the less fortunate. Later, the family comes together to enjoy the dinner before going to midnight mass.
