Palladium Resorts in Mexico have been recognized as a Socially Responsible Company.

The Palladium Hotel Group Resorts located in Riviera Maya and Rivera Nayarit, Mexico, have received the ESR 2013 Distinction from the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía - Cemefi) for satisfactorily meeting all the requirements needed to be considered a socially responsible company. 
It's the second year in a row that the Grand Palladium Resorts and The Royal Suites by Palladium in Riviera Maya receive this recognition, while it's the first year for the resort complex in Riviera Nayarit. This distinction recognizes the hard work all of the Resorts have done to voluntarily and publicly accept the important commitment to include socially responsible policies in their business culture and strategies.
During the last decades, social responsibility has become an important issue for companies that try to maintain an equilibrium between their business and financial results and policies related to natural resources, society and interest groups.
Palladium Hotel Group's sustainability and environmentally-friendly policies have been awarded and recognized in the past by organizations such as EarthCheck and World Wide Fund.
The ESR 2013 Distinction will be awarded during the 6th Latin American Conference of Socially Responsible Companies which will be held on April 8-11 in Mexico City.
