Mallorca Rocks Hotel is back on its third season with top artist such as New Order and Kasabian

Mallorca Rocks Hotel has just announced its concerts agenda for the next summer season. After two successful years of live performances by artists such as Fatboy Slim, 2Many DJs, Madness or The Kooks, among others, Mallorca Rocks Hotel faces its third season with a line-up of pure indie rock music that will surely attract the most alternative fans.
Even though the hotel will open its doors on April 28th, the first concert will be held on June 5th with the stellar performance of hip hop artist Ed Sheeran, recent winner of two Brits Awards.
Concerts will run for 16 straight weeks from June until September, featuring bands such as Kasabian, New Order, Bloc Party, Tinie Tempah, Example, Kaiser Chiefs, Chase & Status, Professor Green, Maverick Sabre, Labrinth, DJ Fresh, Azealia Banks and Two Door Cinema Club, as well as other special guests, still pending confirmation.
Considered one of the most popular festivals in the Balearic Islands, Mallorca Rocks Hotel has welcomed numerous international artists performing live on the incredible poolside stage. One of the most anticipated concerts will be, without a doubt, New Order’s. One of the most influential and acclaimed groups of the ’80s, they were pioneers in the electronic music scene, and responsible for the opening of the world famous The Haçienda Club in Manchester in 1982, not to mention the 1983 hit "Blue Monday" that still plays all around the world after almost 30 years.
New Order’s Bernard Sumner says: "Since we recorded our Technique album in Ibiza (1989), we haven’t returned, which is why we are eager to perform live for the first time in the Balearic Islands."
Kasabian will also be participating in this season’s line-up at Mallorca Rocks Hotel. The English rock band is on top of today’s indie scene performing all over the world in the most famous festivals. That’s why they’ve been chosen to get everyone rocking during the anniversary celebrations of both Ibiza Rocks and Mallorca Rocks, in their 7th and 2nd anniversary respectively.
