The Grand Palladium Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, have recently been awarded with the “Gold Level” by Travelife TUI, the most important global sustainable tourism program.
This award is the result of an extensive audit that reviewed employment records and electric bills, interviewed hotel staff and inspected the property thoroughly to ensure an excellent management of energy and water, biodegradable chemical product usage and urban waste recycling. The Grand Palladium Resorts in the Mayan Riviera also promote local products and eco-cultural activities that contribute to the region’s development. In every Grand Palladium Resort, we are committed to the efficient usage of natural resources, encouraging our staff, guests and suppliers to participate in our environmental policies. The use of biodegradable products, low energy lighting, recycling of solid residues and re-use of materials that can be utilized for other purposes are a fundamental part of our policy.
Last year, our Resorts in Riviera Maya also received this important recognition. Congratulations to both Resorts!
