Palladium participates in an initative selected as finalist at Premios Corresponsables

The initiative "Dona tu móvil" (Donate your mobile phone), which included the participation of Palladium Hotel Group, has been chosen as Finalist in the 3rd Edition of Premios Corresponsables (Jointly Responsible). With the support of the Ministry of Labor and Immigration of Spain, the Fundación Corresponsables has rewarded the most innovative and sustainable initiatives in the field of Social Responsibility.
Aimed at creating social awareness about the preservation of our environment, the “Dona tu móvil” campaign was promoted by the Red Cross and the Entreculturas Foundation. Every establishment from our brands Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Fiesta Hotels & Resorts, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Ayre Hoteles, Sa Tallaia Boutique Hotel and Mallorca Rocks Hotel participated in this campaign by providing guests the opportunity to recycle their mobile phones.
The funds obtained by the Red Cross will go to environmental projects and activities such as awareness and educational campaigns targeting senior citizens. The Entreculturas Foundation will earmark funds to children’s schooling in Latin America and Africa.
Palladium Hotel Group has also participated in other initiatives such as WWF’s Planet Hour, and collaborated with NGOs such as Infancia sin Fronteras and Un Juguete Una Ilusión Foundation. Recently, Palladium Hotel Group has participated in the Fundación SEUR’s “Bottle Caps for a New Life” campaign.
