The Festival of Nations in Seville, which turns 18 this year, will be held from September 16th to November 1st, hoping to beat last year’s edition that attracted more than 300,000 visitors.
For more than a month, the Festival of Nations will turn the city of Seville in the capital of the world’s cultures by bringing together at the Prado de San Sebastián the cuisine, craftsmanship and music from five continents while showing a gesture of solidarity with developing countries. The 17th edition of the Festival will evoke the essence of the pavilions of the 1992 World Expo in Seville.
The Prado de San Sebastián gardens will become a unique outdoor venue where participants can enjoy shows, oriental dances, dancing classes, show cooking, bachata contests, drinks and typical dishes tasting, and many more activities that will help them discover the customs and traditions of different nations around the globe. This edition will feature new activities, including a tent called “Los viajes de tu vida” (The trips of your life) where visitors can bring photos from their travels and show them to all sevillanos. The most spectacular picture will win a trip to the Caribbean.
And just a walk away from Prado de San Sebastián, you’ll find the Ayre Hotel Sevilla, the urban hotel that’s closest to the Santa Justa station (AVE train station), and one of the closest to the San Pablo International Airport. The hotel boasts 241 bright, comfortable and fully equipped rooms, gymnasium, outdoor swimming pool and the “Portico” Restaurant/Cafeteria.
