This year, the White Island celebrates the XII edition of Ibiza’s Medieval Market on May 6-8. Considered by many as the third most important medieval market in Spain, this event commemorates every year the naming of Dalt Vila as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The fortified city and its surroundings will go back in time to become a medieval market with nobles, knights in shining armor, dragons and jesters strolling around a labyrinth of cobbled streets while all kinds of actors, comedians and artists perform scenes from medieval times. Far-out characters attract the public’s attention with street shows, fire tricks, dance and comedy while thousands of spectators get a taste of traditional products and an up-close look at the island’s customs thanks to the craftspeople who showcase their esparto, pottery and fabric products or their production of musical instruments. Music, shops, workshops, oracles, processions, weddings, Grandma’s culinary delights, oriental baked goods, Moorish culture…We would like to invite all our guests staying in any of the Fiesta Hotel Group Hotels and Resorts in Ibiza to visit this “One Thousand and One Nights” dreamlike world right in the heart of the old historic district of Eivissa.
