The traditional Santo Domingo Brugal Merengue Festival celebrates its 43rd edition with a select group of artists next week, during Friday 30th, Saturday July 31th and Sunday August 1st at the Plaza Juan Baron George Washington Avenue in Santo Domingo.
The concerts, free to the public that meets each year at this big party, will start at seven o'clock in the evening.
Dedicated to the musician and Dominican singer Cuco Valoy, the billboard lineup this year will feature performances by Eddy Herrera, Wilman Peña, José Peña Suazo, Ramon Orlando, Banda Real, Tito Swing, Rubby Perez, Johnny Ventura, Toño Rosario, The Prodigy and Rafely Rosario. The special guest is Puerto Rican singer Jessica Cristina.
Three nights of rhythm, dancing and fun is to be expected, with the attendance of thousands of Dominicans and foreigners who show their support year after year.
