Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean and the birthplace of Bob Marley and James Bond 007. It is a unique place with beaches of clear and turquoise waters, where the hours pass by slowly under the warm Caribbean sun.
Larger and more varied than most visitors expect, Jamaica cannot be explored in just a couple of days. Its beauty, diversity of landscape and culture full of contrasts attracts visitors from all over the world. - Combining grand history and dynamic modern culture, Kingston, capital of contrasts, is Jamaica's government and commerce epicenter, the beating pulse of its politics, and the creative outlet of its people. - Clark’s Town is located in the heart of the Trelawny sugar belt, and is a busy rural town with an interesting history. After the emancipation of slaves in Jamaica in the mid-19th century, the owner of the Swandswick Estate, Mr G.M. Clarke, donated a thirty-acre tract of land on the edge of his estate to be used for the development of a “Free Village.” The village at the time was structured in the traditional free village style, with a centrally located church and the houses of mainly sugar estate workers.
- Port Antonio's bigger beaches - Frenchman's Cove, Winnifred and Boston Bay - are well-travelled, stunning locales. But tracking down the off-the-beaten-path beaches, such as Shanshy Beach and Ras Johnson's Ranch, can be gratifying, providing you with serenity and exposure to the authentic Jamaica and its rustic charms.
- Explore Jamaica's ecological treasures, from limestone cave labyrinths and gushing waterfalls to mineral springs with curative powers. Dunn's River Falls is one of Jamaica's national treasures. Globally, it is as well-known as Reggae and equally stimulating. There are few places where the Arawak name "Xayamaca" - land of rivers and springs - is more apt. The Spaniards called the area "Las Chorreras," the “waterfalls” or “springs,” and it is truly one of the most beautiful spots on the island.

- The Luminous Lagoon is said to be the largest and most brilliant of four in the world, which is why it continually attracts and awes visitors and scientists from around the world. Being home to millions of dinoflagellates. At night, the lagoon sparkles and glistens when disturbed, as these microscopic organisms produce an eerie glow, reflecting the outlines of fish and other objects in the water.
- To the west of Ocho Rios, in the village of Oracabessa, 007 fans can visit the beach of James Bond. Located near the former home of Ian Fleming, "Goldeneye," the beach offers different options: jet skis, a helicopter ride, horseback riding, or enjoy local specialties in a beach bar.
- One of the oldest and most historic regions of the country, Port Royal has maintained much of its independence as well as its heritage. Once the enclave of pirates and other outlaws, there is still a strong seafaring tradition.
- The Bob Marley Museum is dedicated to the memory of the late Reggae superstar. The museum is located in Marley's original studio where he recorded many of his songs in Kingston.
